Google Earth is launched!

Given the hour (3am), this is a quick post: Google have launched their highly anticipated full version of Google Earth, the search engine's stand-alone global map utility. The application [~10Mb] is available to download from http://earth.google.com

New equipment review pages have been added which are accessable from the Astronomy Equipment page; the review pages include telescopes, binoculars, eyepieces, mounts, etc.

A couple of new news pages have also been added - these can be found via the Astronomy & Space News page; the new pages are for the Gemini Observatory and MSNBC.
